The orthodontic treatment with aligners
In the time of internet and social media, unfortunately, many online-aligner-brands try to sell their plastic aligners by promoting them as they were as easy as taking a selfie! Some of these Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) brands are even try to mislead the public by naming their brands beginning with the (Dr.) title. This tragic fact was another reason, that urged to establish an organization like the ASAO to take action against such misleading of such commercial brands to the general public, and to remind the public about the right canals where they can get a proper orthodontic treatment from.
The ASAO is independent from political parties and religious institutions.
